Acupuncture promotes healthy energy flow throughout the body. When this energy is disturbed or out of balance, pain or disease can occur. Acupuncture corrects these imbalances with the use of very fine, hair-like, pre-sterilized, disposable needles. The needles are gently inserted into specific points on the skin's surface to influence the body's energy flow. Acupuncture is a safe, noninvasive and virtually painless alternative, used to promote general health and pain relief. In addition to traditional Acupuncture, Gail also specializes in Cupping, Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, LED and Infrared Light Therapy which improves blood flow, reduces inflammation, pain, increases collagen, elastin, and increases energy as well as promoting lymphatic system activity. Gail also uses a Guasha tool. This tool is used to release tight and painful mussels and is equally beneficial in improving acute upper respirator problems, chronic pain, digestive disorders, sleep apnea, headaches and more.
