Dr. Chris Gile, DC CVSMT
Board Certified Chiropractic Physician
Dr. Gile is a licensed Chiropractor serving Chicagoland and the Northern suburbs. Dr. Gile attended The University of Wisconsin at Madison, where he earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in Pre-Med. He continued his education earning a Doctor of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences. Dr. Gile not only offers traditional Chiropractic Manipulation, but is equally proficient in additional Chiropractic techniques; such as Instrument Adjusting, Activator, Drop Table, Cox Traction, Trigger Point Release, Soft Tissue Work and Extremity Adjustments. He continually attends advanced educational seminars, enabling him to offer the highest quality and most up to date Chiropractic Care available today. Dr. Gile believes in the "Whole Person Approach." This approach to wellness means looking for the underlying causes of any disturbances or disruptions, which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time. He works with each patient to help facilitate, accelerate and maintain any interventions and lifestyle changes necessary. Dr. Gile is committed to helping his patients obtain optimal health.

Lora is the smiling face you will meet when you first enter our office. She is a lifetime resident of the Chicago area. Lora attended Wright College and North Park University, Chicago. She has 35 years of experience in the medical field, with the last 28 being in Chiropractic. She discovered Chiropractic in her early twenties after experiencing an injury and has enjoyed helping patients ever since. With Lora's extensive knowledge of insurance and healthcare, she will gladly help you with your office account and any questions you may have. She is also Dr. Chris's right hand, assisting him with patient treatment and keeping all the wheels turning here at the office. She is great at connecting with each practice member and putting their concerns at ease. She will help you and your family get scheduled here at Edgebrook Chiropractic Health Center as well as get acclimated into our office family. Beata is a Licensed Massage Therapist. She graduated from The European Massage School in 2007. Beata has worked in medical healthcare as Massage Therapist for over 10 years. Her specialties include Deep Tissue, Swedish, Relaxation Massage, Trigger Point, Light Stretching, and Mobilization.

Penny has found her passion giving Massage. She is dedicated to her profession and enjoys connecting with clients. Penny Graduated from The Chicago School of Massage Therapy. 25 years later, she still loves Massage Therapy and looks forward to offering her expertise to help you! She is interested in learning new techniques to support clients health and reduce pain. Aside from Swedish and deep tissue Massage, she is studying to become a Shiatsu Practitioner. She is skilled at targeting specific areas to relieve pain and stiffness. Penny invites you to receive a relaxing and therapeutic massage treatment, here at Edgebrook Chiropractic. Barb Murakami

Barb is passionate about wellness and loves to help others which she has done most of her adult life. Needing a flexible career and wanting to stay in the wellness field, she enrolled in The Soma Institute in Chicago where she obtained her license in Clinical Massage Therapy and graduated with honors in 2009. Barb is a consummate professional and prides herself on her communication skills. She is extremely detailed in her work and does not believe in bypassing an issue or doing incomplete work. She specializes in neck and low back pain, but will aid you in improving your overall health. Ailments from everyday wear and tear as well as medical concerns are addressed and are melted away by the power of Massage.

Laurie graduated from the The University of Illinois at Chicago with a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy as well as receiving a Masters Degree in music therapy from New York University. She received her Bachelor's degree in Arts Therapy from Russell Sage College. Laurie is also a Certified Level II Reiki Practitioner. Laurie specializes in manual therapy, often using gentle Myofascial Release technique which has proven to be successful at improving and restoring range of motion, reducing pain, and increasing functional performance. Laurie also assists with adaptive strategies, exercise programs and modalities, working side by side with Dr. Gile to assure that ECHC patients are receiving comprehensive, holistic care. Laurie is passionate about helping others and she is thrilled to be part of the Edgebrook Chiropractic team!
Gail Kimura, LAc
Acupuncture
Gail is a nationally board-certified, licensed acupuncturist. Gail graduated Magna Cum Laude. Although she originally studied traditional Chinese Medicine, she also specializes in Cupping, Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, and LED and Infrared Light Therapy which improves blood flow, reduces inflammation, pain, increases collagen and elastin, increases energy and promotes lymphatic system activity. Gail also uses a Guasha tool, which is used to release tight and painful muscles and is equally beneficial in improving acute upper respiratory problems, chronic pain, digestive disorders, sleep apnea, and headaches.
Gail is also co-owner of an acupuncture supply company. Being involved in the supply company has given Gail the opportunity to study with many world renowned acupuncturists and learn their secrets.
